Overcrowding and housing shortages in Nunavik

One in two Inuit (49%) lives in an overcrowded household, making this a critical issue in Nunavik. The appalling lack of housing forces extended families to crowd into homes that are often too small to accommodate them

This overcrowding not only increases the risk of domestic violence, but also its recurrence, especially when the aggressors live with the victims.
