Thank you for visiting NCLA’s website. Our project has been in the works for years, and we are proud to finally share it and grow it with you: You can now be a part of it.

It’s counterintuitive to believe that Canada and Quebec would infringe the basic civil rights of their northern citizens. For decades, our governments have been looked at as international leaders of the human rights community.

But in Nunavik, Canada, the deceit is real. This has now been documented and acknowledged by governmental authorities for many years. Read more about the issues facing Inuit in Nunavik here.
